1.Team member to develop metal clad switchgear structures, subsystems, and components for a new generation of the Global Distribution Switchgear products.
Drives creativity and innovation in development and implementation of technology roadmaps and platforms to be incorporated into the multi generational switchgear product roadmaps.
Always focus on delighting the customer – product reliability and life cycle cost.
Continuously develops and grows technology skills.
Identifies risks and mitigation plans, and carries out changes to plans if necessary to ensure that targets are achieved.
Continuously seeks to improve and optimize quality and cost of the products.
Participates in quality and cost improvement projects. Effectively collaborates within the engineering team and other cross functional teams.
Low voltages switchgear products design for customer. Technical support for marketing and sales.
BS or MS – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in Power Engineering is a plus.
Experience designing sheet metal structures.
Strong working knowledge of computer modeling.
Strong working knowledge of Inventor/AutoCAD.
Knowledge of power systems and / or industrial automation & controls is a plus.
Excellence in analytical skills.
Working knowledge of design for manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability.
Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional environment.
Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience operating successfully in matrix organization is a plus.
Healthy, energetic, and can stand physical and mental pressure from the heavy management work.
