Application Engineer-Electrohydraulics (m/f)

Location: Wehrheim

As the Application Engineer- Electrohydraulics you will provide a high standard application support in Electrohydraulics, Software and Data Communication. You will be responsible for interfacing with customers, preferably in the DACH Region, to define and support needs, solutions and prototyping concepts to drive growth in all focus market segment.

As the Application Engineer- Electrohydraulics you will:

  • Provide high level applications support

  • Understand different customer applications and product designs, gaining insight in what is critical in each case and what could be a valuable solution

  • Interface with the Product- Development/Management Team to provide feedback and help direct improvements

  • Interface with the Business Development – and Sales team to better understand each customer and application needs

  • Provide technical input to sales proposals based on customer needs and expectations

  • Advise and influence customers

  • Collect customer intelligence and monitor competitive market data

  • Plan, organize and manage projects to completion on time

  • Plan and conduct product and system training courses, seminars, customer support at trade fairs and end customer presentations as well as teaching events

  • Undertake other responsibilities as required

Qualifications

Application Engineer- Electrohydraulics-Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant subject such as Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

  • Strong hands-on experience in hydraulic & electrical characterization, modeling and measurement tools

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in an application support roles

  • Proven experience within the Electrohydraulics market and applications is prefferable

  • Knowledge and experience with Co-De-Sys or similar would be a plus

  • Basic PLC/IPC software automation skills are a plus but not essential

  • Ability to handle different projects in parallel

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work and influence across multiple functions

  • Fluent German and English language knowledge
