This is a key role within Eaton’s central marketing communications team working to realize Eaton’s growth through targeted relationship marketing activities reaching customers and prospects across all its key industry segments including: Commercial Buildings, IT, Data Center, Machinery OEM, Rail, Marine, Utilities and Oil and Gas.

The EMEA Events Project Manager will be part of a central events team who will provide leadership to countries deploying all formats of Eaton events across the region. Events will be delivered utilizing Scrum principles with some travel involved in region. This role will also interface with external vendors that will form an integral part of the delivery team of these events.

Your main duties :

  • Work closely with segment marketing teams, channel teams and country sales teams to support their event program

  • Provide all event deliverables for all events and handover to the local teams for activation. Event deliverables will include taking a very clear event brief, running a pitch process when required for stand build, managing design, definition and delivery of the Eaton approved stand, support event logistics, ordering event materials and providing regular updates on event budget to ensure delivery on or under budget.

  • Event planning to be run using Scrum principles

  • Order products for event display production as part of our level loading process and work closely with our panel builders to deliver high quality event materials

  • Update the event panel portal with any new panels created

  • Work closely with the translation team to ensure that we have the most current translations for event materials stored centrally

  • Work with the EMEA Digital and segment teams to design and develop engaging event marketing communications adhering to brand guidelines.

  • Work with Central Martech team to ensure data collected during events is correctly tagged and managed

  • Ongoing improvement of processes around events organization using continuous improvement tools

  • Work with Eaton’s in-house creative services team (in Pune, India) and in-region vendors to provide a library of graphics available for events.

  • Produce post event reporting for all stakeholders

  • Manage and log all Pre-Activity Agreements for events

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant experience of event management across a range of events

    • Fluency in Polish and English essential with any additional languages as a bonus
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation systems and application within

    marketing

  • Good organizational skills

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

  • Creative approach to problem solving

  • Experience of working in B2B marketing

  • Good numeracy skills including a knowledge of reporting

  • Superior written communications skills and messaging

  • Minimum B.S. or B.A. degree in marketing, journalism, communications,business or related fields

  • Driver license “B”
