Eaton Corporation Web Content Manager in United States

Eaton’s Lighting division, a part of our Electrical sector, is currently seeking a Web Content Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Peachtree City, GA facility.

The Web Content Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of website activity for the achievement of short and long-term business objectives, increased profit and market share, and increase search relevance for Eaton Lighting products. In this role, you will be dedicated to exceptional user experience, ensuring that the customer web experience is relevant, concise, search engine optimized, and visually compelling with content that encourages engagement and return.

  • You will oversee digital content presented on Eaton.com/lighting and the my.eaton.com portal. Actively participate and engage in the Eaton.com website transition project.

  • You will collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop site content, style and appearance.

  • You will liaise with content providers to ensure brand consistency and maintain Eaton web content standards.

  • You will partner with key electrical distributor and agents to gain an understanding of what their basic data needs are to optimize Eaton’s presence on my.eaton.com platform.

  • You will support website analytics/metrics and execute SEO strategy.

  • You will embody strong project management skills to include: effective communications, planning, time management, problem solving, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience in developing and managing digital/web content.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in Adobe Experience Manager 6.2 and 6.4 required.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience and proven proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Peachtree City, GA, will be considered.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CSS, HTML and JavaScript knowledge.

  • Experience with Master Data Management systems. Stibo STEP a plus.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

  • Applied knowledge of Google Analytics, BrightEdge, Clicktale and Adobe Analytics.

  • Experience with Content Management Systems and Digital Asset Management systems.

  • Ability to display comprehensive understanding of digital content best practices, including SEO, usability, and user experience.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills. Intermediate Excel proficiency.

  • Ability to be performance driven and results oriented; takes initiative and demonstrates follow through.

  • Ability to be detail-oriented, with strong planning, organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze current industry trends in digital content marketing & strategy and a drive to explore new methods.

  • Ability to be a self-starter with energy enthusiasm towards a team environment.
