Eaton Corporation Program Manager - Manufacturing Strategy in United States
Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a Program Manager – Manufacturing Strategy to join our team. This position is a remote based position – the candidate for the role, must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
The Program Manager – Manufacturing Strategy is responsible for supporting the deployment of Manufacturing Strategy initiatives for Hydraulics globally, including new product introductions in the receive site related to Manufacturing Strategy Transition Projects, execution of programming, prove-outs, production part approval processes (PPAP), production ramp-up, material, tooling and gaging within the broader organizational initiatives and objectives . In this role, you will drive manufacturing strategy projects; create scope of delivery within schedule, cost, savings, and quality commitments, while playing a key role in developing business proposals related to Manufacturing Strategy initiatives and executing the overall program plan.

You will lead continuous improvement project activities of launched products in the receive sites in conjunction with site leadership team goals and objectives.
You will establish and monitor assigned commodity performance for production and quality standards, providing oversight of manufacturing objectives for the assigned area in a timely and cost-effective manner
You will manage the Lifecycle Financials of the Transition Program(s) and projects, providing direction for Responsibility, Authority and Accountability (RAA) for every project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, savings and quality commitment
You will coordinate all risks and requirements of the program into a complete integrated entity. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, integrating all projects into the programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
You will provide periodic program updates (Program Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule), updating the business units as well as divisional, and group levels.
You will play a key role in developing business proposals related to Manufacturing Strategy initiatives and executing the overall program plan.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in manufacturing or operations
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in project/program management and/or product development within engineering
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Masters of Business Administration from an accredited institution
Experience with financial documents and analysis
Global manufacturing or operations experience
Experience with phase gate project management process
Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally
Experience with Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
Project Management Institute (PMI and/or PMP) accreditation highly recommended
Prior experience in the Hydraulics industry
Experience in an operations management role
Expertise in the areas of quality, lean manufacturing, and/or six sigma
Experience in Risk Management
Bilingual – English and Spanish preferred
