Eaton Corporation Shipping Administrator in Titchfield, United Kingdom

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To ensure the timely processing of shipments in accordance with Eaton policies and procedures, and in compliance with UK Shipping & Export requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Processing Pre-Shippers in ERP system in timely manner.

  • Processing Shippers in ERP system in timely manner.

  • Booking shipments with designated couriers / freight forwarders

  • Ensuring all Shipping documentation complies with Eaton policies & procedures.

  • Ensure Shipments comply with Eaton Quality System

  • Registering EU shipments on a Standard Individual Export License (SIEL) with HM Customs.

  • Raising Dangerous Goods Notes (where trained)

  • Ensuring Shipments & Shipping documentation comply with Export licence requirements – act as final gatekeeper for licence compliance.

  • Confirming Shipments in ERP system after dispatch.

  • Resolving Shipping queries and providing shipping info to the stakeholders on request.

  • Processing Military shipping release documentation as required (MOD 640 / DAIN / DD250)

  • Processing Shipments / ASN’s on customer defined portals as required.

  • Ensure all release documentation is correct and accurate (EASA, CAA, CAAC, CoC).

  • Filing of all Shipping documentation in line with company requirements

Qualifications

  • SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience of Export license procedures

  • Shipping administration experience

  • Class 9 Dangerous Goods certification (Preferred)
