Eaton Corporation Facilities Maintenance Technician in Southfield, Michigan
Eaton's Vehicle Division is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Southfield, MI.
The Lead Technician will be responsible for perform and manager facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, safety system maintenance, parking lot maintenance and other duties related to the Research and development programs on the site.
Maintenance of Southfield facility, kitchen and grounds, HVAC including repairs, plumbing, safety systems, building automation controls, landscape maintenance, general building maintenance activity in accordance with Eaton environment and safety requirements, and ISO14001 guidelines and requirements.
Monitor and respond to issues in the Building Automation system
Lead or Provide support for energy reduction programs
Maintain and service equipment used for building maintenance operations and procedures.
Provide direction as needed to internal and contracted maintenance resources performing activities related facility maintenance.
Ensure budget alignment with facilities manager with monthly spend
Assist the EHS analyst with implementation of environmental health and safety initiatives and the completion of environmental health and safety maintenance activities.
Comply with requirements of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Perform other functions as required.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance
No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within a 50 miles radius of Southfield, MI will be considered.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Associate's degree in HVAC Technology
