Eaton Corporation Lead IT Analyst - Data Center in Simpsonville, Kentucky

We are currently seeking a Lead IT Analyst, Data Center Infrastructure in our Infrastructure Center of Excellence (CoE). This position is located in Simpsonville, Kentucky. No relocation is being offered for this position. The candidate must live within 50 miles of the Simpsonville, KY or Louisville, KY location.
The primary function of the Lead IT Analyst is to design, construct and deliver solutions to address business and technical requirements, leveraging standard principles and patterns. This is a technical position which provides implementation, support and design, for infrastructure IT equipment within the data center. This role requires a general operational understanding of the IT technology which resides in the data center; this includes servers, network, storage and security devices as well as an understanding of IT recovery technologies. The Lead IT Analyst must have a general understanding of electrical / mechanical infrastructure which supports the data center. This role also requires an in-depth understanding of all safety policies to ensure all activities within the data center are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Additional responsibilities include the following:
You will provide direct support for all requirements in the physical planning, coordination, cabling, and installation of IT equipment. Oversee the installation of IT equipment by our suppliers.
You will designs technical solutions and collaborates with Infrastructure teams to convert requirements into equipment placement, network requirements and installation.
You will develop and promotes data center technology standards.
You will ensure requirements are met and any design risks are highlighted.
You will manage customer and external supplier deliverables.
You will provide multiple alternative options and recommends best solution to specified request.
You will prepare detailed design documents for data center infrastructure area.
You will collaborate with all of IT across functional areas to identify and design solutions following IT strategy. Efficiently identifies solutions that will likely deliver the best results
You will participate with Project team in design, documentation, development, production rollout and support.

Two-year degree in computer technologies or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in multiple technologies is required.
Relocation is not being offered, all candidates must reside within 50 miles of Simpsonville, KY or Louisville, KY.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must have thorough operational knowledge in Data Center IT Technology experience, strong analytic and problem resolution skills.
Ability to solve problems independently, quickly, and completely, and to communicate them clearly too upper management.
Ability to write proposals and technical documents and to make presentations to diverse types of audiences.
Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
Can lead and train other team members in technical and process changes and enhancements in managing data center infrastructure.
Ability to share the value and vision with others.
- Industry accreditations are preferred.
