Eaton Corporation Operational Excellence Senior Analyst in Shenandoah, Iowa
Eaton’s Vehicle Group is currently seeking an Operational Excellence Senior Analyst to join our team.This position is based at our Shenandoah, Iowa facility.
The OPEX Senior Analyst will support the OPEX Manager direct activities associated with Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI) including activities of CIF tool champions to achieve plant-wide improvements; outcome business results, and target assessment scores. The OPEX Senior Analyst will direct the training of the CIF tool experts in the details of all tools and the kaizen event methodology. This role will also be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of world-class quality systems that ensure reduction in the cost of quality and that meet/exceed customer requirements.

You will contribute in the advancement of the organization in the OpA (Operational Assessment) process using Eaton Business System tools. Ensure that processes needed for the QMS (Quality Management System) are established, implemented and maintained.
You will ensure the promotion and awareness of customer and regulatory requirements throughout the organization (i.e. EQS requirements, AIAG APQP/PPAP compliance, Etc.)
You will analyze Organizational metrics related to the Balanced Scorecard (relevant to the position) and perform periodic reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close the gaps at an operational level.
You will support OPEX Manager in annual objective planning for the plant to exceed high 5 metrics & Eaton Business Excellence/Operations. Facilitate plant CI Council that consists of site leadership team and extended leadership team members. Maintains CI (Continuous Improvement) tracker on a regular basis.
You will plans and deploy training to support leadership team, tool champions and shop floor employees. Lead plant cost out initiatives as established by profit plan (balanced scorecard metric) to achieve cost out targets.
Ensure that necessary organizational certifications are obtained, maintained and improved (i.e.- IATF16949 certification, EBE, OpA etc.).
You will oversee QA departmental resources to maximize Quality Management System compliance by leveraging 8D/A3 problem solving to ultimately achieve high 5 metrics. Ensure local change management processes are established, implemented and maintained.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum 2 years of experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality/continuous improvement leadership role.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
