Eaton Corporation Bus Sales Manager in Shanghai Shi, China

o Responsible for developing and implementing plans and programs with Distribution Channel Partners.

o Coordinating all channel sales and marketing initiatives across their region.

o Responsible for driving, developing, and implementing the Bus Channel Plans for their geography with channel partners.

o Accomplished through local deployment of Channel Toolbox and Managing Channel for Growth value selling.

o Integrate of legacy relationships and sales actions to maximize the channel for the expanded Bus business in China.

o Achieve sale target through manage opportunity pipe line, supporting bidding process.

o LCC calculation, which will support value selling approach

o Manage distributor’ commercial proposals in the region including price, warranty, delivery term, payment terms.

o Manage distributor inventory setup in region.

o Manage material sharing within region and others regions, to ensure max wins.

o Execute the Channel management system.

o Manage performance of channel partner in regions.

o Run performance evaluation for channel partner in regions

o Manage marketing event to promote market in region, follow Eaton marketing process including branding, together with marketing team


o Experience with managing customer relations

o Strong sales and negotiations skills to create win-win situations.

o Strong drive for results and self-directed personal initiative

o Clear understanding of Eaton routes to market with a channel mindset.

o Strong understanding of business fundamentals and financials.

o Strong team building and leadership skills.

o Be an Eaton Ambassador, coach, and influencer across all levels of the organization both inside Eaton and within the Channel Partner.

o Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.

Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering (or similar technical degree)

  • 5-7 Years of experience in commercial vehicle industry

  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience with sales or service management

Preferred/Additional Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position):

  • MBA preferred

  • Commercial vehicle transmissions Product & City bus Market knowledge preferred

  • Strong business, financial and customer acumen

  • Understanding of competitors’ strategies, technologies, and capabilities

  • Strong English skills.
