Eaton Corporation Security Manager in Santa Fe, Mexico

  1. Travel

  2. Review and approve Travel Authorization Forms for Mexico

a. Evaluate business critical and business essential travel for High and Extreme risk destinations

  1. Partner with the ISOS Assistance Center for itinerary-specific guidance, as required

  2. Coordinate executive protection for senior leadership travel to security risk destinations

  3. Conduct travel security training

  4. Oversee the Cross-Border Travel Security Protocols for the border region

a. Expand the protocols to other high-risk locations outside the border region as appropriate

  1. Physical security

  2. Ensure adequate access control, visitor control, perimeter barriers, intrusion detection systems, security cameras, lighting, etc., at Eaton facilities in Mexico

  3. Guard services

  4. Manage the Inter-Con relationship

a. Work with the Inter-Con national account representative for Eaton to improve security services

b. Monitor satisfaction survey results, turnover rates and post vacancies

c. Implement corrective measures

  1. Workplace violence

  2. Respond to workplace violence in coordination with HR and the Corporate Security Director

  3. Investigations

  4. Provide oversight and guidance to site managers

  5. Partner with Inter-Con and local law enforcement to conduct investigations

  6. Ensure security observations and events are entered in MESH PRISM

  7. Monitor MESH PRISM incidents and corrective actions

  8. Corporate MESH Assessments

  9. Conduct the security review for all MESH Assessments in Mexico

a. If unable to participate in the MESH Assessment, evaluate the results

  1. Monitor corrective actions identified during MESH Assessments

  2. Security vulnerability assessments

  3. Intelligence sharing

  4. Alerts and notifications

  5. Crisis and kidnap response

  6. Security training

  7. Schedule and conduct security strategy team meetings


• Bachelor Degree in any area. (Desirable a master degree or post grad courses related to security)

• 3 to 5 years of experience as Manager - Security Specialist

• Eaton’s high ethical standards, personally demonstrates the Eaton Values & Philosophies, effectively interacts with others, establishing open and trusting relationships.

• Very good understanding of statistical methods in support of trend analysis and decision-making

• Requires ability to work independently and to provide consultative advice

• Be an effective communicator, who is comfortable in a high visibility position and who will act and empower for appropriate organizational change

• Excellent Management & Communication skills

• Negotiation skills to deal with Security vendors

• Strong problem solving an analytical skills

• Knowledge in Local and Federal laws related to Safety and security

• Microsoft Office, excel

• Ability to work on complex situations and to produce reports for senior management

Strong communication skills Spanish & English, ability to work with people at all levels
