Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking a Program Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes or San Luis Potosí facility.

Here’s what you will do:
The Program Manager is responsible for leading, developing and coordinate regional cross functional teams in the execution of manufacturing projects. Manage the regional project portfolio and provide project recommendations to operational leaders. In this role, you will work closely with functional senior leaders for alignment to projects and performance to goals. Project status updates to be provided to Senior Leadership. This role will be required to identify team resources, goals and objectives, performance metrics and a project road map which aligns with the expectations from the organization. Project scope may consist of PROLaunch NPD & STP projects, safety, global capacity balancing, cost improvement and execution of regional manufacturing strategies.
Develop and communicate project scope, cadence and deliverables.
Develop appropriate work plans (PROLaunch or Change Management) to ensure objectives are met and the manufacturing plants are capable to support the project requirements in quality and capacity perspectives.
Plays a key role in aligning Product Line launches with Operations and drive execution related to plant activities.
Identify key regional projects which support key operational factors and/or improvement objectives
Coordinate financial and technical analysis reviews of all manufacturing projects
Facilitation manufacturing Councils and support mission of councils
Creating and leading development plans for self and others within the organization to ensure technical expertise in plants
Driving implementation of best practices & continuous improvements projects throughout division.
Developing Processes that drive world class quality.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution required.
+5 years of experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Manufacturing or Operations Program Launch Management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in at the plant working on operations and/or manufacturing (hands on).
Candidates must live within a 50 mile radius of one of the following locations: Aguascalientes or San Louis Potosi. If not within the 50 mile radius of these locations, relocation will be provided.
Strong GD&T and analytical skills
Good Business acumen
Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) highly recommended
Experience managing complex programs (NPD or STP) with: 1) components / subsystems / systems scope of responsibility, 2) High customer business risk, 3) Significant budgets, and 4) Substantial Revenue Growth Program value.
Master’s Degree in Business (MBA).
Position Success Criteria :
Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment.
Very proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
Demonstrate Program management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer.
Demonstrated strong problem solving (example: A3, 8D’s, etc).
Experience in Risk Management.
Daily Production Environment experiences.
Willing to travel internationally and domestically up to >50% of the time.
Experience working with global teams - Must be capable of leading effectively in diverse cultural situations with our global Vehicle team members.
