Eaton Corporation Plant Manager in Reynosa, Mexico

To provide direction and management to the Reynosa plant operations in Filtration Division. Primary responsibilities include development and implementation of strategies to drive improvement in sales and profits as well as ensuring continuous improvement in operational performance and employee satisfaction. Provide leadership to functional areas: manufacturing, quality, engineering, project management, and supply chain. Implement Eaton process and tools in all functions to further solidify use of Eaton Business System at the site. The Plant Manager would also collaborate with the Campus leadership team to ensure consistency of operational practices across the campus.

His/her main activities will be:

  • Must work consistently to maintain safe and healthy working conditions, to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injury and illness and to observe all governmental, regional and company safety and health regulations.

  • Develop plans to achieve model plan status including world class high five metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Inventory) and OpA demonstrating performance at the site.

  • Implement Eaton process and tools in all functions to further solidify use of Eaton Business System at the site.

  • Create an environment to engage employees and ensure high levels of employee satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that direct the operation of the plant

  • Lead the EBS planning processes for strategic planning, OCA, and profit planning for the site.

  • Leverage division / group functional resources to drive excellence in respective functional areas.

  • Provide leadership and oversight to continuous improvement initiatives, quality management system, EHS initiatives aligned with MESH requirements.

  • Select, motivate and develop an employee group that has the skills to achieve business objectives.

  • Develop and implement capital plans to support manufacturing strategy.

  • Develop plans to increase productivity and continually improve the product cost structure

  • Manage Engineer To Order product processes to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with all EHS (MESH), ISO14001, and ISO9001:2015 standards


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field (Preferred Technical degree).

  • Demonstrated knowledge and plant manufacturing operations and business


  • A minimum of five years of experience as a manager of quality, production or

    Engineering in a plant or prior experience as a plant manager.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude (including welding experience) is preferred.
