Eaton Corporation Plant Controller in Reynosa, Mexico
Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a Plant Controller to join our team. This position is based at our Reynosa’s facility.
The Plant Controller is responsible to directs all finance-accounting activities in accordance with corporate and division policies and procedures. Oversees general accounting for Mexico and US, budgeting, and payroll. Performs specialized analysis to support complex business decisions by Plant Management.

Some activities related with the position will be:
-Coordinates and prepares monthly forecasts, annual profit plan and strategic plan for the campus and presents to division management.
-Provides financial analysis, interpretation of variances from budgets and advice to management
-Oversees preparation of budgets and forecasts.
-Develops sustainable closing, forecast and management reporting processes and assists the Campus Manager and operating team in developing and driving improvement strategies for site.
-Insures adherence to standard accounting principles and practices.
-Evaluates all capital investment for the campus to insure returns meet division guidelines.
-Develops and maintains a current system of internal controls compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley.
-Insures accurate and reliable product cost and inventory valuation.
-Analyzes units’ results and makes recommendations to financial and operating -management to maximize the sites profit and cash flow.
-Makes financial presentations of business results to campus and division management.
-Support initiatives to improve EHS culture; Participate in a EHS team (Ergo, Safety, Green, etc); Include safety topics in departmental meetings; Achieve near misses goal.
-Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas-Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
-Participate in PROLaunch as DGC member.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
-BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. MBA and or CPA preferred
-Prior experience as a plant controller preferably in a maquiladora or for a US corporation in Mexico
-Minimum of 8 years professional experience in same position in the same industry sector
-Familiar with Payroll information Systems (Tress, CGA, Oracle, SAP)
-Bilingual English/Spanish (preferable)
-Proficient in MS Office /Excel, able to develop spread sheets
