Eaton Corporation Vendor Master Admin in Queretaro, Mexico
Eaton’s GFSSdivision is currently seeking a Vendor Master Admin to join our team.
This position is based at our Queretaro facility.
The Vendor Master Admin is responsible for Supplier Process (Accounts Payable) in a fast paced, high volume Mexico shared services environment. Position involves extensive interaction with various suppliers and employees within a centralized corporate accounts payable department. The customer base includes supporting 17 locations, over 3500 users and over 35,000 suppliers. Must have the ability to troubleshoot procure-to-pay issues and communicate solutions.

Some activities related with the position will be:
Communicates effectively and promptly with suppliers, customers and all levels of management through phone or email.
Provides customer service within contracted service level agreement
Analyzes SAP vendor Masterfile, identifies duplicate vendors, determines root cause and recommends solutions.
Coordinates problem resolutions between the operations and suppliers.
Prepares metric analysis and reporting.
Addresses escalated customer issues and leads activities to resolve customer concerns.
Develops and documents new processes and improvements.
Supports acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations.
Trains internal customers on accounts payable processes and procedures related to vendor maintenance.
Maintains positive relationships with customers, both internal & external. Ensure professional and appropriate communications.
Knows and complies with Eaton policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH).
Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.

Position Success Criteria :
Recent (within last year) SAP experience related to AP.
Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word) required.
Strong customer service orientation.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to apply SAP accounting system expertise to troubleshoot financial system problems, resolve customer issues and implement new solutions.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Highly motivated self-starter who can work well in a team environment or independently.
Adaptable to change.
