Eaton Corporation Training Supervisor in Queretaro, Mexico

The Training Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs that improve organizational quality, safety, and efficiency for a large manufacturing facility. The Training Supervisor collaborates cross functionally to prioritize training objectives and then develops training solutions to achieve objectives. Supervises a team of 8 production trainers. The position will be responsible to comply with all legal obligations from the Secretary of Labor (STPS) related to training.

• Works closely with a team of trainers and Plant Leadership Team to meet the overall training and development needs of the site.

• Comply with all STPS legal requirements, respond to STPS audits and report out the status of the Annual Training Plan.

• Identify and assess training needs and determine effectiveness of training programs.

• Ability to consult with all levels of the organization to identify/define training solutions to meet business needs.

• Assist in the creative development and delivery of training programs.

• Lead onboarding and new hire programs.

• Identify and assess training needs and determine effectiveness of training programs.

• Assist in providing required documentation during compliance audits.

• Create and maintain all training materials and records.

• Lead a team of production trainers.

• Supports safety initiatives

• Collaborates with HR team members and participates in HR related activities and projects.

• Comply with all the ISO/TS requirements and perform internal audits to verify employees are performing the activities they were training on.

• Execute the training needs detection process and develop the Annual Training Plan

• Reports and track progress regarding all Corporate Training requirements including Eaton University.

• Administration of the Eaton Scholarship program.

• Ensures HR activities fully comply with legal requirements


• Bachelor degree in business administration or equivalent.

• Knowledge in all related to STPS legal requirements.

• Familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirement regarding to training.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing, delivering, and documenting training (in a manufacturing environment preferred).

• Thorough knowledge of the design, delivery, administration and evaluation of training and development programs.

• Flexible with schedule to accommodate working in a 24x7 environment


• Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.

• Detailed planning, project management and organizational skills.
