Eaton’s Hydraulic division is currently seeking a CNC Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Querétaro facility.

The CNC Technician is responsible for setting up CNC manufacturing equipment to release parts to production according customer requirements. Collaborate on Production’s metrics & goal achievement, meeting all times with the applicable Safety, Quality, Health & Environmental and Human Resources policies and procedures.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Provide first line technical support to all production operations.

  • Perform CNC programming and prove out for all production equipment.

  • Interact with Engineering and Production staff to solve production-related problems.

  • Work with Engineering and Production staff to ensure a smooth transition of new product

  • Transfer product design criteria into machine requirements.

  • Make recommendations to improve processes and yields, reduce costs and improve quality.

  • Recommend new tooling as required for Production equipment.

  • Identify and make recommendations to eliminate non-value added activities.

  • Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas

  • Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.

  • Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Technical degree

  • 3 years of experience as CNC technician or programmer.

  • Proven knowledge of measuring and inspection instruments (roughness / profile tester, optical comparator, caliper, micrometer and high caliper).

  • CMM report interpretation

  • GD&T experience preferred

  • English Basic Level
