Eaton Corporation Materials Planner in Queretaro, Mexico

Eaton’s Hydraulic division is currently seeking a Materials Planner to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility.

The Materials Planner is responsible of activities associated with Materials Planning, managing raw material item inventories at their optimum level in keeping with desired OTD and customer service level.

Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Support the make-to-stock best practice model for Hydraulics following our Min-Max Supermarket targets.

  • Managing Materials Planning for both discrete and min-max planned items.

  • Supporting cleanup up of invoice holds and ASN holds.

  • Reviewing assigned items and responding to shortages, real and potential.

  • Plan raw materials inventory levels and guarantee high forecast accuracy to supplier to meet profit, inventory targets and goals.

  • Ensure end-to-end pull feeder plant model is sustain at Queretaro Hydraulics plant

  • Balances current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.

  • Maintain Materials Planning procedures such that there are processes for make items while inventory levels are optimized.

  • Maintains planning parameters in MFG Pro to ensure proper order generation, and Raw Material replenishment.

  • Communicating with suppliers regarding past due shipments and drop-in requirements.

  • Ensure that site planning functions work effectively with production personnel to match supply with demand, at minimum cost and maximum efficiency.

  • Review SIOP/forecasting to provide Raw Material Visibility.

  • Set up of new suppliers to Min-Max methodology.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain.

  • 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Material area in Manufacturing industry

  • Familiar with forecasting tools

  • Experience in Materials Replenishment Program, Min-Max tools.

  • Intermediate skills in Excel.

  • APICS CPIM certification preferred

  • Experience in ERP systems. MfgPro Sofware preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
