Eaton Corporation Audit Data Analyst in Pune, India

  • Support the data analysis needs of the Audit Lead Data Analysts in completing and financial and operational audits, including:

  • Identifying opportunities to partner with audit teams and provide analytic services.

  • Thorough understanding of respective audit objectives and can deliver efficient and effective follow-up on audit results for the continuous audit team.

  • Executing analytic service requests while maintaining acceptable cycle time / quality standards.

  • Providing insight and guidance on reported exceptions/ analytic output.

  • Tracking and reporting audit outcomes that have been supported by Continuous Audit.

  • Support continuous audit reporting operations by executing recurrent analytics for key quarterly audit reports.

  • Support financial audit reporting operations by executing routine analytics for plant level audit testing.

  • Participate and support special projects and ad-hoc data analysis requests, on an as needed basis.

  • Support end users and Continuous Audit in their use of the Oracle GRC tools that Eaton owns.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of prior auditing and/or data analytics experience.

  • BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematical/Statistical disciplines.

  • Professional certification (CPA, CA, CIA, CMA, CFE etc.) preferred.

  • Experience auditing manufacturing business processes. Basic knowledge of data base structures, of common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle and MfgPRO.

  • Basic analytical skills and/or knowledge of one or more common data analysis tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA) preferred.

  • Basic or advanced knowledge of Oracle GRC (specifically the CCG and AACG modules) is desired but not required.

  • Experience in using advanced features of MS Access and/or MS Excel is desired, but not required.

  • Working knowledge of key auditing and accounting concepts (GAAS, GAAP) and experience in supporting / participating in an audit activity.

  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and work in a highly fluent and fast paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote ideas and work effectively with all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to deliver meaningful results that clearly and succinctly report and present key issues, business impact, and recommendations for improvement.

  • A proactive “can do” attitude, with the desire to have an impact, add value to the organization, and a mindset for continuous improvement.

  • Knowledge of electronic working paper applications such as MetricStream is desired, but not required.

  • Experience with computer forensics work is desired, but not required.
