Sales and Marketing Center (SMC) partners with multiple Eaton businesses across different geographies to deliver incremental value and drive growth by providing best in class solutions and practices through its five integral CoEs -Sales Analytics & Market Research [SAMR], Creative CoE, Customer Services [CS], Master Data Management [MDM] and Pricing CoE. Primary Function:

The primary responsibility of this role is to work with Electrical Canada stakeholders to perform following activities for Electrical Canada business of Eaton:

  • Provide pricing system expertise and support to the marketing and sales teams; provide guidance to the marketing and sales teams on how to implement changes within the pricing system while maintaining system and data integrity

  • Creating and implementing Distributor and Promotion Pricing in the systems

  • Create regular Product Data and Marketing reports as needed by the Business

  • Identify process improvement areas and implement through automations

  • Upload, maintain, and update product line registrations, price lists, and pricing files within the pricing system, as defined by Product managers; ensure alignment with product and pricing policies and system requirements

  • Lead the implementation of General price increase; coordinate required inputs, timelines, and communication

  • Provide price and sales analysis support to all product lines by utilizing product and systems knowledge to retrieve data from established tools such as Global Vista Pricing, Mentor, OBIE, Price Monitor and CPA.

Create standardized operating procedures and related documents that support the strategic marketing objectives and tactical necessities

Essential Functions:

  • Create Distributor Specific Pricing (and other pricing methods) with customer, parts and net prices

  • Upon request, create Promotion Rebates Pricing

  • Augment/Approve SKUs in Product Data Hub for Canadian business

  • Creates Monthly Sales Commissions (and other marketing) reports

  • Creates Monthly Market Share Reports for consumption of Senior Leadership Teams

  • Implement time sensitive annual General Price Increase (GPI) process in the pricing systems

  • Identify Process Improvement opportunities and implements them using automations in excel, OBIEE etc.

  • Learns Power BI and creates reports/views for consumption of Senior Leadership Teams

  • Work very closely with ES Canada pricing counterparts on daily basis through phone calls and web conferences

Specialized Knowledge:

  • BBA / B.Sc. – Mathematics/ B.Com/ Bachelor in Economic with 5-7 Years of related experience. MBA Marketing/Finance specialization with 3-5 years exp. preferred.

  • Key Professional Competencies:

  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Access.

  • Experience in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphical form.

  • An understanding of costing concepts and terminology.

  • Mathematical Apptitude and Understanding of Statistical Analysis and methodologies
