This position will be an integral member of the Power Systems Division Materials organization, with responsibilities aimed at the order fulfillment of both Stock and Non-stock Finished Goods from a Central Distribution facility. This role will trigger optimized replenishment supply plans to achieve overall customer fulfillment for Line Installation Protective Equipment (LIPE) products.
The responsibilities will require coordination across all LIPE production locations including stocking levels, replenishment strategies and allocations (when necessary). The role will require interaction and input from the Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing & Logistic teams to facilitate the execution of the strategic demand plans, of which the primary output will be to give direction to operations through the SIOP process. With introduction of the Flex Center (2019), this individual will also ensure kit packaging to support customer requirements. The position shall also serve as a resource to Power Systems Division Supply Chain Management team to align with strategic direction for the overall Materials Management activities.
Plan, schedule, and own the fulfillment of LIPE distribution center Product Lines through an adequate supply chain of materials required for the completion of forecasted and customer requirements.
Perform stock/non-stock analysis and maintain optimal planning parameters for all products moving through the distribution center(s) using SAP supplied tools.
Convert demand to supply in SIOP process including mix changes, stocking plans, and share/loss gains within raw material planning and finished good strategy
Take actions to close forecast gaps, work with operations and marketing to ensure sales forecast is attained on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
Own published lead times with marketing and drive to attain market expected lead time across products by leveraging stock position and planning materials
Drive product lines to on time performance goals and implement strategy changes to meet expectations
Maximize the value of each release consistent with replenishment strategies to achieve a balance between lot size, lead time, delivery priority, cost and inventory management.
Analyze inventory levels (range of coverage) and drive actions to advance, delay or cancel previously scheduled materials and strive to control inventory levels while supporting customer requirements – balance MRP Monitor service level with need for stock build to support plant manpower requirements / training (level load concept)
Research and determine alternatives when schedule changes or delays are identified to maintain strategic service levels and meet customer satisfaction goals
Maintain weekly ship status reporting and analysis of reasons for late shipments
Ensure Revised Goods Issues Dates (RGID) are communicated to customers within Supply Chain goals, focusing on minimizing the number of multiple RGID’s
Participate in cost reduction activities as required, specifically working capital management actions.
Operate within SAP and business operating systems.
Coordinate storm stock response for LIPE product
Lead in annual physical inventory for the designated area / identify gaps / drive corrective action
Ensure weekly cycle counting is performed in compliance with Eaton policy
Perform ad-hoc analysis as assigned.

Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Operations
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain: Material Planning, Master Scheduling, Materials Analysis
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
Customer Service experience in a manufacturing setting
Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
Proficiency in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or Purchasing
Knowledge of SIOP and Finished Goods Forecasting for distributed products
Customer Service in the Electrical Consumer, Industrial, or Utility segments
APICS CSCP or CPIM Certification
Bi-lingual – Fluent in English & Spanish
Excellent communications skills with internal and external customers.
Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain and purchasing requirements.
Prior knowledge with Inventory or manufacturing operations optimization
Proven ethics, values and the ability to influence others’ decision making
Proven ability to manage in complex environment(s)
Ability to interface at all levels within the organization
Ability to get results, self-starter and good decision making skills
Ability to analyze, identify and implement opportunities for improvement that have measurable impact
Knowledge of institutional problem solving tools/processes such as cycle time reduction and process improvement tools: Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, Kaizen, DOE, Pareto Charts, Statistical process control, Process mapping, Tree diagrams, Root cause analysis, Analytical software programs
Demonstrated success in materials, purchasing, or customer support activities.
