Eaton’s Circuit Protection – Power Components division is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Moon Township, PA facility.
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for improving our circuit protection and metering products by leading activities focused around design improvements, manufacturability, cost reductions and maintaining certification

You will assist in building and leading an off-site team for product line support
You will evaluate industry trends to propose strategy for product life-cycles
You will initiate hardware re-designs to achieve cost & maintainability goals
You will perform necessary design simulations and testing to ensure quality
You will ensure agency certifications are complete and updated
You will plan work in detail at individual level, creating a robust and track-able plan
You will improve engineering design and product support processes, train others

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in embedded designing and/or supporting electronic devices and systems
No relocation assistance is being provided for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Moon Township, PA will be considered.
Must be legally authorized to work in US without company sponsorship
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
Understanding and experience with magnetics
Design for manufacturing experience
Knowledge and understanding of current and voltage sensing methodologies
Knowledge of and experience with project tracking tools such as Jira
Expertise with Design for Six Sigma processes
Position Success Criteria :
Experienced with analog and digital hardware analysis, simulation, design and test
Experience with embedded firmware in 8 bit through 32 bit microcontrollers
Strong interpersonal & organizational skills
Excellent meeting, written and oral communications skills
