Eaton Corporation Warehouse Associate in Milton, Ontario

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems division is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team! This position is based at our Milton, Ontario facility and will be working on day shift.

The Warehouse associate will be responsible for processing material throughout the facility including inbound, outbound and internal material movement with goals to achieve high “on hand” accuracy for the warehouse.

  • You will unload inbound trucks and receive inbound materials. This includes checking material against bill of lading and conducting inspection on incoming material as outlined in the incoming inspection process.

  • You will pick parts through Oracle according to production needs which includes delivering material to designated workstations, replenishing Kanban systems, and picking customer orders.

  • You will maintain inventory to ensure accuracy of parts and quantity.

  • You will prepare and consolidate items to be shipped via skids, shrink wrap or banded product while ensuring packaging requirements are met to eliminate possible damage during transportation.

  • You will utilize scales for outbound shipments, provide Logistics Administrator with weight, dimensions, special trucking requirements and skid quantity.

  • You will load material onto trucks making maximum use of available space & ensure load is balanced.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping and/or warehouse environment

  • No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80 km of Milton to be considered.

  • Must be authorized to work in the Canada without company sponsorship.

Position Criteria:

  • Basic to Intermediate computer skills including MS Office and database management.

  • Licensed Electrical Truck Operator.

  • Prior experience on truck loading principles.
