Eaton’s Electrical Product Group is seeking an Accounting Manager and for its Industrial Controls Division. The Accounting Manager position will be located in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Position Overview :
The Accounting Manager provides strategic, analytical, and tactical leadership and support to the Commercial and Engineering teams. As well as supporting the Plant Controllers to conform to corporate financial policies, legal requirements and GAAP. The position manages key financial aspects for the Headquarters of the Industrial Control Division, including monthly financial reporting, financial close, forecast and annual profit plan, financial analysis, financial policies and procedures, functional excellence. This position reports directly to the Director – Finance, Industrial Controls Division.

You will ensure ongoing compliance with Sox and GAAP and the maintenance of a strong internal control environment
You will support Corporate Tax initiatives and audits
You will manage Divisional transfer pricing strategies for new product launches and ensure compliance with Corporate guidelines
You will support plant finance teams and Division leadership on an adhoc basis
You will perform 2nd level balance sheet reviews for selected sites
You will be responsible for the profit planning and forecasting of the Headquarters support budgets totaling $35M
You will coordinate Research and Development budgets with remote engineering teams (China and India)
You will provide input and guidance to Commercial and Engineering teams in the preparation of New Product Business Opportunities and Capital Investment proposals
You will act as Finance Gatekeeper during Project Reviews
You will build the organizational capacity of the ICD finance team

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 7 years financial experience
Minimum 4 years experience within a manufacturing organization
Must be authorized to work in the us without company sponsorship.
Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited organization
Minimum of 7 years financial experience within a manufacturing organization
Working knowledge of Oracle
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Ability to operate across, and influence within , a complex matrixed global organizational structure
Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts
Broad general business knowledge
