Eaton in Marshall, MI has an opening for a Inventory Control Technician.
Position Overview:
Eaton's Vehicle group is a leading global supplier to the automotive market and alternative markets. The successful candidate will work with prototype lab manager to manage prototype materials inventory and receiving.
Essential Functions:
Setup bill of materials in inventory control system
Identify procurement needs
Create material routings for internal processing
Support the receiving, serialization and preservation requirements of prototype materials
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma from accredited institution with 6 years applicable experience
OR Associate degree in engineering, technology, or business field from accredited institution with 2 years applicable experience.
No relocation is offered with this role. Candidates must be located within immediate geographical area (50 miles) of Marshall, MI to be considered for this position.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
Automotive mechanical knowledge
Previous experience with Job Shop software such as Job BOSS
Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office Products
