Eaton in Marshall, MI has an opening for a Inventory Control Technician.

Position Overview:

Eaton's Vehicle group is a leading global supplier to the automotive market and alternative markets. The successful candidate will work with prototype lab manager to manage prototype materials inventory and receiving.

Essential Functions:

  • Setup bill of materials in inventory control system

  • Identify procurement needs

  • Create material routings for internal processing

  • Support the receiving, serialization and preservation requirements of prototype materials

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma from accredited institution with 6 years applicable experience

  • OR Associate degree in engineering, technology, or business field from accredited institution with 2 years applicable experience.

  • No relocation is offered with this role. Candidates must be located within immediate geographical area (50 miles) of Marshall, MI to be considered for this position.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited

  • Automotive mechanical knowledge

  • Previous experience with Job Shop software such as Job BOSS

  • Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office Products
