The position is covering 2 Eaton's plants in Langenlonsheim & Altlussheim, (with together 400 employees )
Eaton´s Filtration plant in Altlussheim is the center of excellence for Hydraulic- and Lubrication oil Filtration by on time manufacturing high quality, innovative Filtration products and solutions using the key competencies of our site: Assembly, Filter design, Electronics and Filterelement production.
Plant in Langenlonsheim is a leading system provider for advanced liquid filtration solutions for the beverage and food industries as well as chemical, pharmaceutical and industrial applications.
This position is reporting directly to the Altlußheim / Langenlonsheim Plant Manager and functionally to the Filtration Division Global Materials Manager, the Regional Supply Chain Manager has direct responsibility for leading and facilitating all supply chain management elements for Eaton’s Filtration Division’s Altlußheim and Langenlonsheim Germany plants in support of 90M € in annual revenue. Included in the role’s functional ownership responsibilities are (but not limited to): purchasing, planning, scheduling, logistics, transportation and warehouse / inventory management. In addition to the position’s functional oversight responsibilities, the role will also liaison with local and divisional leadership to champion process and systemic continuous improvement initiatives for the supply chain function that support Filtration and Hydraulics Group supply chain strategies.
Coordinate, lead and facilitate all materials management and procurement activities for assigned sites
Directly manage and supervise the plant purchasing, materials, logistics and warehouse personnel
Provide functional leadership and guidance to plant materials and purchasing personnel in areas of sales forecasting, capacity planning, production planning/scheduling, inventory management, supplier management and customer service
Support deployment of plant procurement and materials strategies (in conjunction with division functional leadership) including (but not limited to): supplier relationship management (SRM) and integration, direct material and logistics cost-out activities, improving materials management processes and mechanics, inclusive of shortening the end-to-end supply chain and improved customer integration tactics
Ensure that the ongoing approaches used are consistent with divisional practices and synergized to ongoing business and overall supply chain management goals and objectives
Serve as an effective functional leader for six direct reports and affiliated teams; defines and deploy applicable initiatives to promote employee development by improving local teams’ skills and competencies
Sponsor initiatives to support division safety and EHS objectives; maintain applicable local certifications; achieve near misses goal and comply with all regulations and compliance matters applicable to the business’ supply chain activities
Be a champion of continuous improvement and cost-out activities designed to increase efficiencies and improve functional processes to achieve business goals and support building organizational capability
We would like you to know:
Degree in business administration or equivalent
Solid experience in a similar role
Relevant experience in leading supply chain teams, with experience in developing and coaching teams
Experience in MRP, MPS, Min / Max, SIOP and other basic supply chain / materials management tools / practices
Flexibility to travel and be available at each site when required
Fluency in English and German
