Eaton Corporation Costing Supervisor in Juarez, Mexico

Eaton’s Bussmann division is currently seeking an Costing Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez facility.

The Costing Supervisor is responsible for the calculation of the annual production rates; coordinates the annual budget and the physical inventory, saving projects validation, month end closing activities and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

In this role, you will:

  • Creates the worksheet to collect the departments expenses and include them in the proper formats

  • Calculates the annual rates

  • Establish the method to evaluates the projects savings.

  • Coordinates the plant annual physical inventory.

  • Runs the monthly closing jobs as per the Unity schedule.

  • Coordinates the Capital Expenditures and the fixed assets capitalization

  • Coordinates the scrap shipments.

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

  • Collects the information for the annual cost customs submission.

  • Generates the monthly reports for the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience of financial accounting in a manufacturing environment.

  • SAP Knowledge

  • EXCEL strong knowledge

  • US GAP

  • Strong technical and general accounting knowledge required.

  • Conversant in relevant accounting guidance

  • Prior management and systems implementation experience preferred.

  • Understanding of internal controls and control environments, and a general understanding of accounting systems and their associated controls and control environment.

  • English / Spanish 80%
