Eaton Corporation Senior CI Engineer in Jiangsu Sheng, China
Lead deployment of tools and processes of Eaton Business System (EBS) to achieve operational excellence, such as Eaton quality system (EQS), Balance score card (BSC)/Quality Operation System (QOS), Eaton Business Excellent Assessment (EBEA), Eaton Lean System (ELS)/Based on Performance Assessment (BPA), Six Sigma, 8D, CIF, OpA and etc.;
Act as interface between Wuxi and Eaton global CI organization to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing, and to ensure that government requirements, industrial standards, and local unique business challenges are captured, understood and acted on promote Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement culture;
Coach and train the employees to use Lean and Six Sigma tools;
Provide line management of multiple operations with functional expertise to establish division-specific product/service quality control policies, processes and procedures to satisfy customer needs and requirements;
Lead the internal / external Business System Audit processes and Eaton Business Excellent Assessment process and drive continuous improvement;
Lead periodical balance scorecard review process and drive efforts in achieving plant metrics of the Balanced Scorecard (e.g. - Customer Returns DPPM, Internal Quality, Scrap, Warranty, Cost of Nonconformance, Supplier Quality, DOH, OTD, Flex productivity and CONC);
Ensuring that processes of the quality management system are established and maintained;
Other related work required by Plant Manager.
Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in manufacturing, or product or process engineering, or Quality system management in a sizable western manufacturing operation ;
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, or other related discipline;
A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing one of above functions and managing people;
Knowledge and experience in establishing and implementing Quality management systems;
Knowledge and experience in implementing and use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies and tools;
Project management skill is a plus;
Exposure to new product launch is a plus;
Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certification.
