Eaton Corporation Regional Drive Sales Manager- West Region in Idaho, California

Eaton’s Industrial Controls Division is seeking a Regional Drive Sales Manager to join our team! The Regional Drive Sales Manager will be located on the West Coast. This position can be based at an Eaton facility or from a home office in the following states: CA, WA, OR, AZ, UT, CO, NV, ID, MT or WY.

This position will drive growth of the Low Voltage Variable Frequency Drive product line within the Western Region of the United States, to the HVAC and Pumping Markets.

  • You will develop and execute a regional sales strategy for the drive sales engineers, and general sales team focused on VFD sales to mechanical channel partners and contractors (Eaton’s Core 44 team), in the mechanical space.

  • You will provide daily engagement and leadership to the Drive Sales Engineers and the Core 44 team in the Western region.

  • You will create and execute regional and individual sales plans for the Drive Sales Engineers, Core44 team and mechanical channel partners to drive sales growth of VFD’s that align with division strategy and sales goals.

  • You will strengthen, align, and rationalize the Mechanical Channel network within the region.

  • You will develop process and strategy to increase VFD attachment rate in commercial projects between the general sales force and Drive focused sales force.

  • You will improve technical VFD expertise amongst the sales teams with an emphasis on the Core 44.

  • You will support product roadmaps and provide input on our product offering and market position by identifying market trends and growth segments

  • You will support critical VFD opportunities within the other sales verticals.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or customer/sales support

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Industrial control or HVAC market

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • Relocation assistance is not provided. Candidates must reside in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Utah or Colorado, Montana, Wyoming or Nevada to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a STEM related degree from an accredited institution

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution

  • Experience managing people or leading a team

  • Experience in Business development

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Industrial control or HVAC market

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or customer/sales support

Position Success Criteria:

  • Candidate must possess knowledge of low voltage drives, motor control, or automation products.

  • Candidate must have excellent communication, problem solving, time management and organizational skills.

  • Candidate must possess the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics and specifications.

  • Position requires the willingness to work in a team environment.

  • Position requires computer skills including Microsoft Applications.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
