Eaton Corporation Engineer Hydraulics -Advanced Technology in Hadapsar Pune, India

Develops NTI project proposals in alignment with customer insights, challenge statements aligned to current and future needs of business. Responsible for maturing xRL for the NTI projects.

Participates & drives innovation summit, design bursts to develop technology vision for hydraulics aligned to current, future business needs. Collaborates with global experts, external partners and extended teams to prepare technology solutions.

Works in coordination with Dynamic machine control solutions, cross functional teams which includes product groups, CRT, CoEs, SCM, manufacturing plants & business teams to mature TRL, CRL, MRL levels. Responsible for conversion of ideas to PROLaunch projects .

Builds proposal for alternate platform solutions, validate solutions at system solutions lab and machines, leads platform mules build at customer.

Drives innovation efforts at hydraulics to generate IP through patents, trade secrets and technical publications. Submits the ideas and project proposals at Hydraulics i2C platforms.

Develops subject matter experts in hydraulic product teams through technical training, guidance and mentoring. Enables deployment of TTF. Participates in the review, manages the triple constraints of the project.

Total relevant work experience: Min.3 years in R&D environment. Good knowledge of hydraulic products/systems, system solutions, analytical models. knowledge of technology development processes [Phase gate processes, Prelaunch cycle] desired

Education: Graduate with Min 3 Years of experience, Post-graduation from reputed institutes with 0 to 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

The key responsibilities of the role includes –

  • Builds proposal for intelligent products and system solution projects on focused platforms, leads system solutions projects and system integration efforts. Develops NTI project proposals aligned with customer insights & challenge statements from business.

  • Participates and drives innovation summits, design bursts to develop technology vision for hydraulics aligned to current, future business needs. Collaborates with global experts, external partners and extended teams to enable technology roadmap.

  • Develops subject matter experts in hydraulic product teams through technical training, guidance and mentoring, deployment of TTF. Provides technical leadership for critical technology projects, participates in the review. Manages the triple constraints of the project.

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in hydraulics industry, developing intelligent solutions, platform solutions.

• Strong knowledge of product development, controls engineering, machine learning techniques, plant

modelling.

• Competency on six sigma tools – DFSS, ability to deploy the Prelaunch (Agile starts TM ) and

PROLaunch

• Having experience in supporting commercialization by validating and proving the solutions at

customer platforms.
