Eaton Corporation Indirect Technical Purchaser in Gyor, Hungary
Working at our Győr production site in Hungary as part of the strategical purchasing team, reporting to the Plant Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for being one single contact point of indirect material purchasing to suppliers and internal customers managing requests for indirect material, equipment, tool and services purchase.
This role ensuring the supply base and supply chain for indirect materials at lowest possible inventory level and price level and appropriate on time delivery service level.
Preparation of procurement requests with technical content
Managing Technical Supplier Quotations (Evaluation, Selection)
Communicating with suppliers
Identify new suppliers, developing a supplier circle
Support for the introduction of new products (indirect materials, machinery, equipment)
Provision and technical support of supplier (price) negotiations
Preparation of transport contracts
Managing procurement projects
Identify cost optimization opportunities cost-effective options
Maintaining the relevant part of the ERP system
Higher technical qualification, degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering
2-4 years of relevant experience in multinational, manufacturing company in buying, sourcing, contracting and negotiating
ERP system knowledge, preferably knowledge of SAP, MRPII principles and awareness of the multi functions involved in the supply chain
Stable English language skills, Good written & verbal communication and negotiation skills in English
Fluency in Hungarian
PC literacy including MS Office applications, advanced level excel
Self-confidence, good presence and good communication and interpersonal skills
Independent, process-oriented work
High level of analytical & reasoning skills
Flexibility and willingness to cooperate
Excellent organizing and problem solving skills
Willingness to travel (90% domestic and 10% EU)
