Lead Analyst - Global Finance Service & Systems (GFSS) EMEA
Locations: European Shared Finance Services Center in Glasgow, UK

This role fulfils a critical role within the Global Finance Service & Systems (GFSS) organization supporting successful delivery of strategic change, cost reduction, finance end to end process redesign and productivity initiatives through identification and execution of optimized process and technical design solutions across multiple business divisions and functions within the EMEA region and working collaboratively with other GFSS centres across Eaton.
Reporting to the GFSS function in EMEA as part of a Global model, this key role will investigate and deliver design solutions and execute on a diverse portfolio of programs partnering with multiple functions across EMEA. It requires strong program and change management skills, process re design, manufacturing operations, superior continuous improvement skills, ERP systems technical expertise and strong customer focus.
This role encompasses responsibility for co-ordinating program financial management, the management, coaching, and development of a team of senior project analysts.
Managing, leading and implementing all process, systems and business requirements for all programs in line with the GFSS program roadmap. Perform end to end process reviews to assess the impact of the process and system changes and provide solution recommendations and requirements ensuring solutions fully meet customer objectives.
Managing and supporting the team of project analysists in the production of all value proposition documentation including current and future state design scenarios, cost benefit & risk analysis and detailed recommendations for all proposed solutions.
Leading on the co-ordination and governance of all activities within the defined portfolio roadmaps.
Building and managing strong working relationships with key stakeholders with a particular focus on Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service and Finance functions across EMEA and global regions.
Program managing all aspects of migration activities and multi ERP systems, utilised by finance operations, into SSC footprint using pro launch tools and methodology.
Identifying and deploying all opportunities for streamlining and enhancement of GFSS processes across the Eaton SSC’s including full process documentation, process flows and development of standard play books
Re-engineering finance processes in alignment with GFSS standardizations, ensuring adherence to all internal controls and key governance control requirements.
Working closely with the finance functions in order to deliver a coordinated and integrated approach to the customer.
Identifying new technology requirements & process improvement to enhance value add activity within end to end process and highlight these opportunities to GFSS global process leads for review.
Managing, co-ordinating and delivering any ERP process documentation and process flows in line with customer requirements and process change.
Acting as primary contact for all customer communication and escalations in order to develop strong customer relationship management and enhance customer service
Strong ability to engage with operational leadership, accounting and transactional finance teams and business functions. There will be high levels of travel primarily within the EMEA region, as such the ideal candidate will have experience in working across a diverse range of cultures and environments.
Extensive finance process design and re design experience essential with proven track record of productivity and cash savings.
Proven successful delivery of multiple Finance Projects, on time, and on budget essential
Extensive experience in delivering successful process redesign migration and optimization initiatives
Strong focus on standardisation and automation of SSC processes
Proven track record of coaching, training and developing teams to a high level of success
Proven ability to interface confidentially at senior manager level
Excellent communication, presentation, training and mentoring skills
Ability to plan and effectively deploy resource to maximize utilisation.
Process/Continuous Improvement experience essential. Six Sigma green or black belt trained is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
Fluent English skills required, other European or Asia-Pac languages advantageous
