Eaton Corporation Hydraulics Test Technician in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Eaton’s Hydraulic Power Motion Control division is seeking a Hydraulics Test Technician to join our team. The position will be based at our Eden Prairie, MN facility.

The Hydraulics Test Technician is responsible conducting routine technical testing and work on Hydraulics applications, including products such as hybrid power vehicles, high pressure mobile valve applications, advanced industrial valves and a variety of electronics.

  • You will perform test setups and completes standard and specialized product tests accurately.

  • You will document and organizes test results per standard electronic format for simple retrieval of test history and corresponding data.

  • You will complete annual calibration of all instrumentation per standard test lab procedure as required.

  • You will complete all internal inspection requests as required by engineering.

  • You will maintain a clean and safe working environment in the test lab in alignment with Lean and company initiatives.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with hydraulics.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Eden Prairie, MN 55344 will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Science.

  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic components.

  • Skilled in evaluating hydraulic circuits, troubleshooting elementary product and test problems, and performing data testing.

  • Knowledge of all data acquisition systems (hardware and software) that are being used.

  • Experience using metrology equipment for inspection and reading engineering drawings.
