Eaton’s Filtration Division is seeking a Demand and Supply Planner to be based out of our Eden Prairie, MN. facility.

The AMER Demand & Supply Planner is accountable for coordination of centralized planning and supporting execution activities for the Filtration Division’s AMER businesses in Fitzgerald, GA, Reynosa, Mexico and Brazil. Critical processes to be managed in the role include production planning and scheduling, capacity planning, ETO project materials management, ABCQ / inventory segmentation, min-max planning, ERP Health and others.

You will facilitate comprehensive fulfillment activities for assigned areas – oversee capacity planning, scheduling and procurement activities across assigned areas; serve as the liaison between inside sales and local units; make the right decisions on production priorities and expedites based on the overall needs of the business; develop efficient methods of communication on production and shipping schedules.
You will champion materials management activities supporting the region’s engineer-to-order (ETO) projects including, but not limited to, participating and representing the materials function in ongoing project meetings, defining supporting production and capacity plans needed to meet project timelines, defining material requirements, and procurement plans and partnering with sites and suppliers on efficiently resolving conflicting priorities and delays.
You will manage ABCQ, PFEP, min/max levels and lead time alignments for the Fitzgerald, Brazil and Reynosa operations; ensure that all of these support flawless execution in our scheduling and order fulfillment activities at the local level in support of our ongoing customer commitments.
You will own overall ERP Health for assigned areas; be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accuracy of critical system parameters and protecting integrity of execution activities driven by the ERP; work with local units to analyze and monitor the MRP forecast for his / her items to ensure accuracy for proper planning by suppliers and plant planning / scheduling personnel.
You will support deployment of materials improvement initiatives in assigned areas in collaboration with division materials leadership, including development and facilitation of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
You will oversee vendor management for key Fitzgerald and Vickers business suppliers; monitor supplier performance and support strategic procurement team on ongoing cost-out and other strategic initiatives; work in-synergy with NAFTA Procure-to-Pay & Process Support Analyst on supporting P2P activities.
You will provide ongoing support to AMER Procure-to-Pay & Process Support Analyst; ensures synergy of tactical / execution elements of P2P analyst align to planning and business needs.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business or operations
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
Experience in use of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word
Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
APICS CPIM certification
Prior experience with MFGPro
Prior manufacturing / plant experience
Prior direct experience in SIOP and plant scheduling process
Demonstrated understanding of tangent processes impacting the responsibilities of this role: SIOP, inventory management, scheduling, capacity planning, & materials replenishment
Fluency in Spanish
Strong analytical skills; ability to mine data to draw meaningful conclusions and guidance for decision-making
Collaborative, team-oriented attitude geared towards supporting Eaton’s “The Power of One” culture
Communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with the ability to make necessary status updates and report-outs to division management
Demonstrating of effectiveness in teamwork; ability to work in and with teams of varying functions
