Eaton Corporation Senior IT Project Manager in Cleveland, Ohio

Join Eaton’s Information Technology team and help positively impact our business through leading technologies, exciting and challenging enterprise projects and new platforms. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Product Operations Center of Excellence (PROCOE) Project Management Office (PMO) team where you will lead large enterprise/regional transformational projects that impact Eaton’s engineering and manufacturing functions. No relocation is being offered for this position. If the candidate resides within 50 miles of Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate must work at that site. If the candidate resides more than 50 miles away from Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate may work remote from another US Eaton Facility or an approved home office.

The Senior Project Manager will plan, control and execute project requirements following Eaton-prescribed process (ProLaunch and PMBOK) to ensure business objectives are met. The Senior PM will partner with Resource Managers to staff projects and clearly articulate project team roles – both functional and technical. Responsible for developing and managing detailed project plans (with clear critical path) and budgets. The Senior PM will manage the scope/requirements and ensure all agreed to deliverables are met while mitigating risks through robust plans. Responsible for organizational communication, training, adoption and change management. Vendor management is essential.

  • You will provide project leadership by adhering to standard departmental policies, processes and documentation guidelines for project delivery

  • You will work with customers and technical resources in developing project plans, work breakdown structures, critical path and detailed costs.

  • You will perform risk management planning, risk identification and mitigation planning

  • You will develop communication strategies and leading communications with senior executives, mid-level or first line leaders and key stakeholders globally

  • You will drive process change and organization change management

  • You will direct the work of a large scale team of IT and functional resources and managing third party suppliers.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required

  • Minimum of 7 years of Project Management experience is required

  • Minimum of 7 years of Engineering or manufacturing functional and IT systems technical knowledge and system deployments is required

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without sponsorship.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

    Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • PMP certified

  • Successfully led major enterprise IT system implementations, preferably Enovia PLM or manufacturing shop floor transformations, in large, multi-national organizations.

  • Intermediate to Advanced understanding of integration and impact points of involved systems globally for a division or function.
