Eaton Corporation Senior Analyst – International Tax Strategy in Cleveland, Ohio
Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Senior Analyst – International Tax Strategy to join our team! This position is based at our Cleveland, OH facility.
The Senior Analyst - International Tax Strategy provides support to the International Tax Strategy group with various international tax planning and compliance projects that directly impact shareholder value.

You will perform tax research on a variety of issues including: international tax provisions of the US Internal Revenue Code, US rules related to corporations and partnerships, tax treaties, and US inbound and outbound taxation.
You will assist with various international tax projects including: cross-functional Legal Entity Simplification projects, internal legal structure reorganizations, efficient cash management, and non-US host country tax planning.
You will assist in the international compliance and provision process including preparation of US international tax forms, earnings and profits, tax pool calculations and maintenance, statement and election preparation, and IRS audit support.
You will provide support for modeling and quantitative analysis.
You will assist in deriving significant incremental shareholder value through highly complex tax analysis while ensuring tax compliance, both in the U.S and internationally.
You will assist in the maintenance of existing strategies.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field plus six (6) months of experience in the Tax field, or another related field.
Must have 6 months of experience with each of the following skills: financial accounting systems including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or tax compliance programs including Corptax; international tax compliance including preparation of US international tax forms (including Forms 5471, 5472, and 8858), earnings, profits, and tax pool calculation and maintenance, or IRS audit support; working with international tax provisions related to ASC740; research on tax issues including international tax provisions of the US Internal Revenue Code, Subchapter C and Subchapter K, or tax treaties; and assisting international tax projects including cross-functional Legal Entity Simplification projects, internal tax reorganizations, efficient cash management, and foreign country tax planning.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
