We are currently seeking an AEM Junior Architect to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide technical solutions on a newly launched platform for Eaton.com with a global reach. This platform and related projects have high visibility and support from executive leadership and business leadership down. This position can be based out of any US Eaton location.
The AEM Junior Architect provides the technical strategy and supporting IT frameworks to guide the successful design, deployment and operations of IT solutions; this position is project based. This position architects, designs and builds the technical foundation of Eaton's enterprise, global web capabilities, utilizing Eaton’s web content management platform. The AEM Junior Architect serves as key influencer in setting technical strategy for web content management to meet IT and Business strategies. This person architects, designs, develops and delivers web-based solutions to provide new capabilities and solve complex business problems.

You will drive solution architecture, ensure technical alignment and facilitate technical solution delivery.
You will be accountable for maintaining high levels of solution performance, availability and capacity, demonstrating a commitment to quality.
You will design and provide solutions to fit the requirements of the project stakeholders, customers, and end users conforming to the standards established by the IT organization.
You will review and critique the solutions of others.
You will assess and direct IT project activities to ensure compliance with established IT and industry standards.
Advanced technical skills along with mentorship, coaching, development.
Definition of design and development standards for solutions platforms and peripheral applications.
Event correlation across solution elements, including analysis and resolution.
Incident analysis, documentation and resolution.
Solution concept design and estimation.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as: B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT in multiple technology platforms.
Minimum 4 years of expertise designing, developing, optimizing and maintaining large web sites and applications.
Minimum 4 years of experience of successfully delivering on all aspects of a technology project.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Exposure to several layers of technology solutions: hardware, application administration, application development, support, etc.
Experience with server side JAVA and JSP development.
Experience with application integration technologies such as JSON, RESTful / SOAP Web services and XML.
Experience with Adobe AEM 6.x or other enterprise content management system.
Master’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Target, Multi-Site Manager, Blueprint, and Language copy.
Expertise in writing code with both JSP overlay and Sightly components.
Experience in writing custom services and configuring services with OSGI bundles.
Experience with the integration of enterprise systems.
