Eaton Corporation Program Manager – Industry 4.0 Aerospace Center of Excellence in Beltsville, Maryland
Eaton Corporation’s Aerospace Division is seeking a Program Manager – Industry 4.0 Aerospace Center of Excellence to join our team. This position can be based in any Eaton Aerospace US location. Grand Rapids, MI is preferred.
The Program Manager will be a key member of the Industry 4.0 deployment Center of Excellence (CoE) and will be the overall Program point person in the deployment of Industry 4.0/Smart Factories across Eaton Aerospace. This role will be responsible for the successful deployment of the Eaton Aerospace Group (EAG) strategy for Factory of the Future. Includes successful management of scope, cost/resources, schedule, subcontract management, performance management and change management of various assigned projects.
Overall Program Management of the EAG level for projects related to Industry 4.0. This includes scope, resources, schedule, and cost
Deployment of Eaton Aerospace Group strategy for Smart factories, Industry 4.0, and IoT
Work with senior leaders and site leadership to develop strategies, goals, objectives, resource planning and communication/change management for the transformation of Eaton Aerospace into an Industry 4.0 manufacturing organization
Establish the requirements for the Site Level deployment teams, support in the selection of deployments teams.
Support the site level Deployment Teams with:
Developing detailed deployment plans and schedules by site
Tracking and reporting progress on Industry 4.0 projects to all stakeholders
Celebrating key milestone achievements
Train deployment sites on I4.0 concepts, tools, benefits and implementation plans
Keep senior leaders and site leadership current with developing technologies
Ensure solution standardization
Drive a culture of the discipline and accountability for accelerating our growth through the Industry 4.0 CoE, delivering on our commitments and aspirational goals with a high degree of passion and transparency
Minimum 5 years of Program/Project Management experience
Minimum 5 years of working knowledge of Industry 4.0/Smart factories. This includes IoT, Data Acquisition, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, and Automation experience in a plant-manufacturing environment.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Highly effective Program/Project Management skillsets with ProLaunch (or equivalent) and AGILE (or equivalent tools. Project leadership in an IT environment is preferred
Working knowledge of Industry 4.0/Smart factories. This includes IoT, Data Acquisition, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, and Automation
Working knowledge of Lean/6 Sigma/ and or similar continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies.
Effective leadership of cross functional, matrix and multi-location teams
Leading projects via effective Change Management tools and methodology
Highly effective communication skills– both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports
Strong organizational and planning skills
An undergraduate degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred
