Eaton Corporation Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer in Belmond, Iowa
Eaton’s Vehicle Group is currently seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Belmond, IA facility.
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will propose, coordinate and implement projects related to manufacturing engineering. Conduct activities to achieve daily and long term safety, quality and productivity goals. Participates in business unit team meetings and helps the team accomplish department action plans. Develops safety improvements and works with team to support required upgrades to equipment.

You will create capital appropriation requests and justify capital equipment purchases.
You will research and select vendors for capital projects and create drawings for components and/or machine design using Autocad Inventor.
You will develop and coordinate projects utilizing basic project management and structured project management skills.
You will evaluate machine capabilities and recommend additions, replacements and rebuilds.
You will establish specifications for requests for quotations.
You will design and recommend improved manufacturing processes to improve overall quality.
You will work with business unit teams to develop goals and initiatives for that area.
You will research and develop solutions to OSHA, ANSI and internal safety requirements for processes and equipment.
You will coordinate testing to optimize performance of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operating) supply items.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD systems.
Technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control systems, and CNC operations.
Prior experience with capital equipment justification, project scheduling and project planning.
