As the Sales Financial Controller Iberia, you will be responsible for the Finance Department of the sales entities in Spain and Portugal. You will look after accounting, financial analysis and control, reporting internally and at group level, statutory accounting, credit control, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash-flow management, fixed assets, information systems.
You will work within our world class Electrical Sales Team in our Barcelona Site and will engage with Iberia Sales Manager and the Financial Director for the West region. You will manage 6 people, 4 in Spain and 2 in Portgual.
Your key deliverables :
Business Partner of the Country sales leader for Iberia
Execution of the strategic plan, annual profit plan, monthly forecast,weekly forecasts, daily reports.
Establish accounting and budgeting controls and meaningful P&L and balance sheet analysis.
Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements.
Provide management at all levels with information, interpretation, counsel and recommendations relating to financial results, plans, budgets, forecasts and operational decision making.
Produce annual statutory accounts and tax packs for submission to Head Office and subject to external audit within agreed and statutory deadlines.
Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
Overall responsibility for the smooth running of all aspects of the finance function
Do you have?
A Degree in Management, Economics or Accounting
A Minimum 5 years’ experience in identical position in multinational environments
Strong experience in Finance.
The ability to act as a business partner
Demonstrated solid leadership skills
The ability to work in a team and people managing skills
Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese will be a plus)
Networking skills, communication/relational, to liaise with the various internal and external stakeholders
Strong commitment to all the company objectives: Sales, Profit, Cash Flows, Customer satisfaction, observing the established policies and procedures, and focusing on continuous improvement
Knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP
