Eaton Corporation Machine Repair Technician (2nd Shift) in Auburn, Indiana
Eaton’s Industrial division is currently seeking a 2nd shift Machine Repair Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Auburn, IN facility.

Candidates for this position must be willing to work any shift and able to fulfill the following responsibilities of the role.
You will adhere to all safety practices
You will maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and building structures as required
You will provide preventative, predictive, and other maintenance services for all machinery, equipment, and buildings. This includes but is not limited to the maintenance of: mechanical and hydraulic presses, lathes and mills
You will support the TPM and PM programs
You will lubricate and clean machines, equipment as needed
You will problem solve machine downtime and make suggestions for improvement
You will procure parts required for repair needs
You will coordinate and support external maintenance/repair contractors
You will utilize CNC software to effectively troubleshoot equipment
You will ensure effective communication with supervisor and between shift operations

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of five (5) years’ Machine Repair experience or Machine Repairman Journeymans’ card awarded through the UAW or DOL.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Auburn, IN will be considered for this position.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Position Success Criteria:
Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic presses, lathes and mills
Utilize CNC software to effectively troubleshoot equipment
Must be able to operate shop mills, lathes, and surface grinder
