Sourcing and Procurement Specialist

Location: Dubai – United Arab Emirates

To develop, source and procure from suppliers for the ME’s business while maintaining high level of efficiency and effectiveness keeping a fair balance between cost reduction, adherence to deliveries, supplier responsiveness level, reliability and quality.

Integration of sourcing projects with EMEA commodity managers for supplier leverage all across the region involving, None Disclosure agreements, quotations, supplier quality assessment and supplier agreement negotiation. Offering support to stakeholders with a pool of approved vendors covering a matrix of options to support the sales organization winning tenders / projects.

Doing business right and complying with Eaton’s policies and ethics.

Ensuring that material is delivered on time per projects guidelines while incurring the lowest possible cost as the product moves to destination.

Essential Functions:

  • RFQ Management – Float RFQ’s to suppliers, in-depth analysis of RFQ’s. Manage the company’s Supplier and co-ordinate with other departments according to company SOPs and guidelines.

  • Annual Cost Out planning.

  • Complete negotiations with suppliers regarding price, terms, quality, tooling, etc. Develop and negotiate supply agreements when needed. Cost oriented – Should be driven by cost reduction while maintaining quality and product value.

  • Coordinate the exchange of technical data / specifications regarding product complying confidentiality

  • Making sure that the procurement is done in timely manner and complying with delivery date requirements. OTD

  • Keep record on deliveries and communication to stakeholders

  • Adherence to procurement procedures and policies

  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers

  • Reporting and Analytics – data analysis and report preparation


  • Bachelors' Degree in Business or specialized degree in purchasing/logistics.

  • Experience in Sourcing and procurement – preferably in the ME market.

  • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills – interpersonal and communication skills are essential for dealing with all levels of internal and external Suppliers and Customers.

  • Strong negotiation skills – Agreement negotiations.

  • Minimum of three years of Experience in the Middle East market and understanding of market and supplier characteristics.

  • Provide Cost Out programs.

  • Self-Motivated, proactive and strong time management skills.

  • Absolute integrity and adherence to Eaton ethics standards.

  • Knowledge in ERP systems (Oracle & SAP).

  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Bilingual: English is a must, Arabic is an added value.
