Job Description Eaton Corporation located in the EMEA region is looking for an Lead Oracle Technical Analyst with expertise in the Oracle e-Business Suite 11.5.10 including several of the following modules, covering either of the complete process cycles of Order to Cash or Procure to Pay in Oracle EBS or SAP. Procure To Pay (P2P) cycle steps including:
1. Creating Requisition
2. Creating Purchase Order
3. Creating Receipt
4. Creating Invoice in AP
5. Paying the Invoice
6. Transfer, Import and Post to GL
Complete Order to cash cycle steps including:
1. Entering the Sales Order
2. Booking the Sales Order
3. Launch Pick Release
4. Ship Confirm
5. Create Invoice
6. Create the Receipts
7. Transfer to General Ledger
8. Journal Import
9. Posting
Expertise in several or all of the following modules or equivalents in SAP is required:
- iStore
- iSupport
- E-Commerce Gateway
- XML Gateway
- Configurator
- Field Service
- BOM
- Costing
- Discrete Manufacturing
- Flow Manufacturing
- Inventory Management
- Multi-Org General Ledger (GL, AR, AP)

- Actively participate in all phases of system evolvement including, requirements gathering, functional and technical design specifications and analysis, system design and development, testing and implementation.
- Work with functional analysts or business analysts to review business requirements and recommend cost effective solutions.
- Serves as Oracle subject matter expert (SME) engaged in the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize disciplined development methodology for continuous evolution and optimization for the Oracle solution.
- Whenever possible configures the Oracle applications to perform the needed business functions without modification of the system.
- When extensions are necessary, analyzes, designs and develops extensions that are friendly to the Oracle upgrade path by developing extensions using the Oracle recommended framework or tool sets.
- Design, development and testing of appropriate interfaces with robust monitoring to meet requirements.
- Fully documents all designs (technical specifications), configurations, customizations/extensions, and interfaces to other systems.
- Work with Business Analysts in the Program Management Office and project Functional Analysts to review business requirement documents and subsequently produce technical requirements documents. Technical specifications would include program specifications, file descriptions, screen designs, record layouts, report layouts and workflows.
- Participate in design reviews with functional analysts, business analysts, and end users.
- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of development standards, processes, guidelines and procedures.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise-wide Oracle-based application systems.
- Assists in project implementations around the globe by providing development of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions
- Provide production support as needed for already developed system components
- Participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings to recommend solutions to needed requirements. Customizations should be avoided in favor of out-of-the-box solutions. If solutions are to be developed from scratch, scalability and reusability of those solutions is the key.
- Continually learn new modules, database schemas and programming techniques to provide value to our business by enhancing self-knowledge and capability.
- Provide excellent quality code as well as excellent documentation including unit test scripts and results.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Possess solid skills and experiences supporting different areas of ERP in a multi-org environment.
3+ years Software development experience in SQL, PL/SQL and at least in one programming language is required. Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Forms or Java would be an advantage.Expertise in several or all of the following modules or equivalents in SAP is required:
