Eaton Corporation Senior Engineering Supervisor in Van Wert, Ohio
Eaton’s Industrial Division is seeking a Senior Engineering Supervisor. The Senior Engineering Supervisor will be based out of our Van Wert, OH location.
The Senior Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership for the Facilities Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering functions in the execution of projects as necessary to create, maintain, and improve world class manufacturing, distribution, and facilities processes.
Establishes priorities and assigns work, monitors performance and resolves conflicts among team members. Defines goals and objectives consistent with business strategy
Provides leadership in the development of strategic direction and performance of Facilities Engineering and Manufacturing and Distribution processes
Supervises product, plant, and manufacturing engineering projects and initiatives with regard to feasibility, cost, and timeliness. Reviews project plans using project management techniques to ensure adherence to sound project management criteria.
Responsible to follow management of change processes, integrate zero incident safety culture, and MESH standards to proactively eliminate safety hazards in the work environment
Provide leadership in the establishment of resources, priorities, and assignments to individuals in maintaining and improving the campus facility and manufacturing and distribution processes to achieve world class performance.
Provide leadership in development of new business opportunities. This role is our Site PROLaunch champion
Responsible for “operation excellence” initiatives through various functions; 5S, Six Sigma, or other lean concepts. This includes availability to support and lead site assessments (i.e. TS16949, EBE, OpA, etc.)
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related field from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Master’s Degree in Engineering related filed from an accredited institution
Six Sigma Black/Green Belt
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
