The core function of the role is to work in a safe manner whilst being responsible for the efficiency of machinery and equipment.
Maintains a safe working environment
Drives and sustains continuous improvement within the cell as defined by Eaton standards
Maintains a high standard of housekeeping at all times as defined by the Eaton standards
Must be inspection approved in accordance with Quality procedure QA186
Able to build complex electrical assemblies.
Able to work with various potting compounds
Understands methods of manufacture
Performs dual inspection where necessary
Can produce parts from non-established manufacturing documentations but would normally work to the correct procedures and paperwork
Assists with problem solving and root cause analysis activities
Capable of doing electrical testing (dielectric tests, HASS, ATE)
Competent and willing to train others
ITAR applies, due to certain military products that are tested in the area
Willing to learn.
Qualifications Good level of English and Maths
Technical aerospace knowledge would be advantageous
Experience working in Electronics Assembly
Experience using chemicals (potting componunds)
IPC J-Standard certified
Able to do standard electrical testing.
On the job experience
Able to read technical drawings
Use of measuring equipment
Skilled in 5S and TPM principles
Past experience in Continuous Improvement activities
