Eaton Corporation Director, North America Marketing in Syracuse, New York
Eaton’s Crouse Hinds Division has an opening for a Director of North American Marketing.
This position is responsible for leading all the marketing operations, activities and initiatives for the EP Business Unit of Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Division. This includes responsibility for the development and implementation of North America commercial strategy, product development strategy and strategic marketing initiatives across all product lines to drive topline growth and margin expansion in close coordination with all key internal stakeholders (BU managers, Regional Sales VPs, GPLMs, PLMs, VP Operations, VP Engineering). This also includes broad cross-functional alignment and leadership to ensure that internal performance metrics for both Operations (Fill Rate, Lead Time, SiOP) and Engineering/NPD (Total Time to Market, Standard Cost, VAVE productivity) are at or better than the levels required for the North American Market.
The North American Marketing Director will also have a leadership role in the execution of C-H’s Vertical Market Strategy whose stated goal is to achieve end-market mix of no more than 45% Oil & Gas by 2021 by expanding into Waste Water Treatment, Power Generation, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and General Industrial. This will be done by developing a product roadmap and commercial execution plan with key stakeholders listed above. Additionally, the role will be responsible for effectively implementing the broader use of data analytics to drive increased topline and earnings performance as well as continuing the buildout of Product Data Hub and Order Center to drive Eaton’s ambition to have an increased presence and capability online in order to reduce customer friction, improve topline sales and reduce overall transaction costs.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required
Minimum 8 years of industrial experience is required
Minimum 4 years marketing experience is required
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
MBA is preferred
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or Engineering
Well-developed communication, organizational, motivational and interpersonal skills
Strong financial acumen
Must be able to travel up to 20%
