Eaton corporation in South Milwaukee has an openings for Molding Operator role on 3rd Shift.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing duties necessary to complete the final testing of E-Caps and repair molding defects. The operator is responsible for meeting production goals while adhering to safety and quality guidelines in the use of electrical test equipment and E-Cap molding defect repair.

Typical Duties:

  • Perform electrical tests.

  • Deposit E-Caps and repair E-Caps to specification.

  • Load and remove E-Caps from cure oven.

  • Operate molding press to mold E-Caps and assemble vacuum interrupters.

  • Repair E-Cap as needed.

  • Notify department team leader / supervisor of all material and/or equipment deficiencies.

  • Perform work from specifications, and/or communicated instructions.

  • Follow established working procedures.

  • Operator is responsible for own work, under minimal supervision and instructions.

  • Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards.

  • Keep work area clean and orderly.

  • Contribute suggestions for methods or product improvement.

  • Use and operate tools and equipment consistent with this job.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Adheres to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.

  • Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the work location will be considered.

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
