Job Description The primary function of the Senior Quality Engineer is to provide leadership and guidance to cross functional work teams to promote process improvements that include preventive actions and corrective actions. The Senior Quality Engineer will lead and provide technical expertise in analytical/statistical tools and methods. Other primary responsibilities include developing systems based on understanding the customer that will create customer satisfaction through the use of product and process quality planning tools.
A. Completes quality engineering assignments with limited responsibility.
B. Acts as a quality liaison between internal and external customers to promote an environment of continual improvement.
C. Assures that products meet customer requirements internally and externally.
D. Responsible for the implementation and deployment of actions and processes to ensure compliance with varying quality systems to include EQS, ISO, and any other regulatory entities that might impact quality.
E. Using root cause problem solving techniques determine containment, root cause, corrective and preventive action solutions.
F. Define and develop process improvements to reduce and minimize cost of non-conformance (CONC).
G. Conduct and assist manufacturing engineering with process capability studies, process audits, and MSA to meet the requirements of EQS and promote continual improvement.
H. Interact with divisional personnel through exchange of technical information and data to support organizational success and learning.
I. Support all other engineers to include quality, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, and design with processes to protect the customer and the market shared.
J.  Provide leadership for Final and In-Process inspections necessary to ensure Quality products to customers. Drive error-proofing solutions at the source to address issues found during inspections.
K. Participate as a resource for Supplier Quality activities to support manufacturing quality and delivery initiatives.
L. Participate as quality representative and support mechanism for new product development, process development, and services.
M. Coordinate and facilitate continuous improvement activities related to Quality including 8D’s, Kaizen events, BPI’s, and other problem solving activities.
N. Assist warranty technicians with customer quality management opportunities as needed to protect the customer.
O. Insure that ISO Quality Management System requirements and Eaton Quality System (EQS) requirements are maintained.
P. All employees are expected to comply with the environment, health and safety guidelines."

Job Description This position will be responsible for order entry, scheduling, expediting, and general customer service inquiries, to process and ship orders as required to meet customer needs. Engineers customer orders including detailed review of layout and application of equipment, wiring and schematic development, component selection, and verification of applicable codes and standards.

Reconciles pricing and lead time requests of incoming orders, using information supplied through Bid Manager, Vista and other communications from field sales and/or channel partners. Verifies that the plant's manufacturing capabilities can support lead-time requests.

Verifies that complete and accurate order entry information has been received from field sales and/or channel partners on incoming switchboard orders. Responsible for communicating to and following up through appropriate channels on any discrepancies and facilitating efficient downstream order processing.

Prepares Manufacturing Information (MI) for less complex switchboard configurations, utilizing MI Manager, AutoCAD, and Plant Order Manager as required.

Supports field sales and channel partners on post order entry issues. Examples include change notice pricing, delivery quotations, Sales Engineer back technical application assistance, and providing value-engineering solutions.

Provides input to the Bid-Man development team on design and pick table enhancements that help minimize front-end cycle time.

Provides input to P&amp;S MEDD department on new product application needs and designs as well as design refinements.

Interface with customers, channel partners, Field-Sales, and EatonCare through participation in plant visits, training support and customer events.

Adheres to all safety rules and procedures, including 5S requirements, and responsible for reporting unsafe conditions to the appropriate management or ESP/ELS representative as required.

Schedule orders for production. Reconcile customer requested ship dates with product line standard lead times and manufacturing capacity.  Utilize AS400 programs (OMS and Allocation System) as well as Microsoft Excel to accomplish scheduling.

Request and verify information for order release and processing.

Communicate with Field Sales/EatonCare/satellites/channel partners on order information. Interface with internal customer/suppliers to accomplish specific customer requests and requirements.

Perform rescheduling duties and advise AWSD to field sales/EatonCare/channel partner or end use customers

Retrieve, match, and route order change notice information.

Expedite and follow critical orders.

Maintain order files in the computer and be familiar with computer based information as it relates to customer schedule and dates. Execute order management functions using VISTA, Order Management System (OMS), AS-400 and Bid Manager computer systems.

Process and follow ship shorts.

Attend production meetings to discuss the status of materials and production schedules.

Expedite material shortage requirements with Supply Chain Department.

Maintain quality processes for these job functions.

Assist in transportation requirements as needed on post-order requests.

Filing of pertinent order correspondence both manually and electronically.

The Panelboard product is a customized offering requiring that each job be thoroughly examined to understand the unique requirements. This position requires the ability to make pass/fail decisions on a daily basis, based primarily upon visual inspection. Some decisions are subjective and may require incumbent to seek engineering expertise. Incumbent requires the ability to stand firm in the face of resistance to an unpopular decision. The inspector position is fast-paced at times and requires multi-tasking. The incumbent requires the ability to manage multiple jobs at various stages of completion. The position's pace is dictated by the production line speed, and therefore requires the incumbent to match pace.

There is high accountability associated with job performance; mistakes on the part of an inspector can lead to personal injury during product use. The incumbent requires the ability to work in an environment of high pressure and high expectations.

I. Maintain contact with customers or customer representatives to solve problems associated with our distribution and control products; visit customer installation to trouble-shoot, repair, or modify medium voltage equipment.
J. Be knowledgeable in high voltage lab safety requirements.
K. Maintain departmental records and equipment; provide assistance and guidance to lower coded drafters and testers as required; perform other related duties as required or assigned.

The HR Generalist will serve as an HR professional for the Greenwood facility and along with the HR Manager will be responsible for providing leadership of the facility’s HR programs to insure positive employee relations and superior employee performance. The HR Generalist will work with the HR Manager to develop and continuously improve the facility’s HR systems and programs. The HR Generalist will serve as an HR professional for the Greenwood facility and along with the HR Manager will be responsible for providing leadership of the facility’s HR programs to insure positive employee relations and superior employee performance. The HR Generalist will work with the HR Manager to develop and continuously improve the facility’s HR systems and programs. The primary responsibility for this position is to develop and monitor inspection techniques necessary to meet print requirements, driving root cause and corrective action related to internal and external quality performance, supporting facility internal and external quality related audits, and providing technical direction to production and inspection staff.

Summary of duties: The fully trained deburr / utility operators will be able to
choose and use various deburr tools, knives and equipment to correctly perform prescribed functions on drawing.

A. Determine manufacturing methods and machine or line loading to produce parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies for new products or customer orders requiring extensive planning consistent with overall division objectives.
B. Manages improvements and enhancements of Dynamic Machine Management processes and software.
C. Evaluate, specify and implement the operation of new and existing machine tools and other equipment. Plan all tooling such as jogs, fixtures, special tools and similar items.

D. Outline the required workflow and material handling devices including storage areas, work areas, and workplace layout. Prepare complete operation line-ups to manufacture all parts for a product line or for a section.
E. Support Lean, Six Sigma, and Pro Launch through the creation of Process Maps, Standard Work, Takt Times, Potential Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments, Control Plans, and Job Safety Analysis for production lines.
F. Estimate the time required to manufacture all parts for a product line or a section
based on the most economical methods developed through manufacturing planning in conjunction with methods, tools, work, plant layouts, and design engineering.

G. Compile complete cost analyses for a product line or section based on extension
of hourly rates, burden and material costs, cost of new machine tools and the handling of equipment. This includes specifications for such items as layouts, tooling, machine tools, and material.
H. Follow all cost reducing methods through installation and successful operation.
I. Recommend replacements and dispositions of equipment and facilities for a given      area and maintain applicable records.
J. Plan and control expenditures of the annual facility programs encompassed in the respective area of responsibility and maintain applicable records. Prepare reports on new methods.
K. Take necessary measures to improve the quality of product and information in the respective area of responsibility.
L. Safety responsibilities include safety and housekeeping objectives; follow all safety rules and procedures and report unsafe conditions to line management.
