Job Description Job Responsibilities for the position of Quality Assurance Manager include :
You will be responsible to provide proper quality set-up to ensure and enable production work performance to be accomplished in accordance with company and relevant regulatory requirements.
You will institute an effective and efficient organizational structure in the Quality Department.
You will manage the company quality system for the Batam manufacturing operations.
You will establish an effective quality system to monitor compliance with ISO9000, AS9100, and relevant governmental and regulatory requirements.
You will induce a positive attitude and response to all employees on the need to observe industrial safety regulations, in line with EHS and other governmental regulatory requirements, procedures and practices for the protection of life and property.
You will ensure that quality assurance staff have the correct skills, appropriate training and are up-to-date on the latest methods, procedures and requirements, and are of sufficient capability to accomplish their duties effectively.
You will consult and liaise with relevant governmental and regulatory authorities on matters related to environmental health and safety, quality system and training requirements.
You will implement an effective quality self-audit program to comply with all production procedures requirements at regular intervals, and follow up on non-conformance corrective and preventive actions.
You will ensure that the proper staff and equipment are available to operate the metallurgical/metrological (Met Lab) and chemical cleaning laboratories required to support production operations.
You will be the focal point on environmental, health and safety issues and provide input to the senior management on these issues.
You will conduct management reviews with management staff and provide reports.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) The Requirements for this position include :
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant Quality Assurance working experience in a MNC manufacturing
environment.
• Relevant working experience in ISO9001, TS16949 and QS9000 and strong working knowledge of
quality control systems and processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills
• Team player with good facilitation skills, strategic change management and good analytical
and conceptual capabilities.
• Highly motivated, independent, resourceful and possess good leadership and managerial skills.
