Primary function of this position:

Provide leadership to the Hydraulics finance organization in Greater China in conforming to corporate financial policies, legal requirements and GAAP.

Provide guidance and support in consolidating, reporting and analyzing monthly results, forecasts and plans.
Provide insightful analysis to drive management actions.

Essential Functions of this position:

A. Assure the existence and competency of financial systems and procedures to comply with GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley requirements, and corporate policies and procedures to guarantee the integrity of financial reporting.
B. Drive financial process and systems improvements to insure the integrity of financial results and to improve efficiencies.
C. Provide guidance and support in reviewing and analyzing monthly results and forecasts, including appropriate commentary to APAC, Group, Sector and Corporate leadership teams. Highlight areas of concern and recommend improvement actions.
D. Perform special analyses to support strategic business decision making. – this can include financial analysis in support of strategic initiatives, capital investments, changing business models, acquisition activity, make vs. buy analysis, pricing models, etc.
E. Recommend, review and provide input to APAC, Group, Corporate and Sector on changes to Financial Policies and Procedures. Lead the development of Hydraulics specific policies where required.
F. Support APAC operation controller in the profit planning process as he/she works to orchestrate the efforts of the regions and headquarters planning teams to develop a solid plan with all required presentation materials for APAC, Group and Sector review. Support the preparation of the Strategic Plan financials.
G Interface actively with the site finance leaders, APAC, Group, Sector and Corporate finance teams (tax, audit, treasury, etc) and Hydraulics Senior Leadership Team.
H. Support APAC operation controller’s efforts to prepare materials for the monthly operating reviews with the Hydraulics APAC Leadership.
I. Work with Corporate Treasury to drive improvements to Hydraulics Greater China currency and commodity hedging results.
J. Provide leadership to the Hydraulics finance organization in recruiting and developing top talent.  Coach and mentor high potentials within the organization.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Education and Experience:
• BS degree in Finance or Accounting, Master degree preferred.
• 10+ years broad financial experience within manufacturing organizations. Proven managerial capability

Skill/Knowledge requirements:
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for managing the activities of the commercial finance function for the VG APAC region. Job Description The regional Advanced Product Quality Planning Manager will be responsible for leading the overall new product quality planning effort for Eaton’s new product development projects to achieve Defect Free Launches, increased customer satisfaction, and successful internal quality goals and objectives. The APQP manager will work closely with APAC R&amp;D centers and manufacturing plants to achieve successful decision gate approval during each phase of product development, including a primary focus on production validation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A Responsible for new product advanced quality planning activities, quality roadmap implementation &amp; improvement, and driving plant quality teams for Defect Free New Product launches by meeting the APQP requirements, including plant and supplier.
B Regularly communicates and demonstrates the Eaton best practices, ethics, values and philosophy such that these cultural attributes are incorporated throughout the organization. Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals and philosophy, encourages continuous improvement, and builds customer relationships.
C Builds organizational capability across the quality function. Ensures deployment of Eaton’s QFE tool set and provides input into development plans of plant quality team members. Supports the identification and development of functional talent.
D Takes an active role in PROLaunch decision gates to ensure Defect Free product and/or process launches. Ensures Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) or First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements and processes are performed, as appropriate, in support of PROLaunch New Product Development or Standard Transition projects.
E Assures the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) steps within PROLaunch process are carried out in an effective manner. Supports the NPD project team on problem solving and metrology activities, including special characteristics identification. A broad knowledge of quality assurance with specific expertise in product, process and or quality engineering is required.
F Supports project and marketing teams in executing the PROLaunch requirements and delivering a design which is aligned with the customer’s requirements, including verification of Critical to Quality (CTQ) and special characteristics matrix are fulfilled.
G Assists program management in providing the product development engineers with lessons learned from current production and/or customer feedback.
H Performs reviews of the DV/PV (Design Validation/Product Validation) plan for quality and serves as the Quality Decision Gate Committee member during the PROLaunch gate review process.
I Supports product and process engineering teams by conducting PFMEA Workshops to pursue robust PFMEA’s and Control Plans.
J Responsible for leading the new product QRB (Quality Review Board) meetings to highlight and drive closure for all open items as voice of the customer. Maintains a current QRB status report for the Regional Quality Team.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s degree, major in reliability engineering or engineering. Master is preferred.
• 10+ years related experience in the electrical industry, including knowledge of low voltage equipment and UPS products, 5+ years in senior level management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively at multiple organizational levels.
• Proficient in the following quality competencies:
A Analytical/Statistical Tools &amp; Methods – the knowledge of a wide range of problem solving tools and methods including statistics, combined with the ability to select and apply them to make data based decisions to sustain higher levels of process or product quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Structure: As a participant, you will complete two assignments, each approximately one year in length. Assignments include roles in supply chain, product marketing, business development and manufacturing operations. You will also have the opportunity to network and build relationships with various business leaders throughout the organization.

Graduates of the program are prepared for manager level roles in supply chain, sales, operations excellence, manufacturing operations and product marketing.

Alumni of the program hold a variety of leadership roles including Acquisition Integration Leader, Operations Manager, International Sales Manager, Business Development Director, Product Manager, Plant Manager, Global Marketing Manager, Customer Support Manager and General Manager/Vice President.


Location: Various China locations, with the possibility of cross-board assignments. Participants will relocate during the program.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
? MBA, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field preferred, and a minimum GPA of 3.0;
? Minimum of five years work experience between undergraduate and graduate degrees, in relevant industrials;

Job Description Eaton Corporation, Vehicle Group, located in Shanghai China now has a job opening for Finance Controller - Vehicle Group APAC.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Operating as a key business partner for the Vehicle Group’s Asia Pacific region including strategic development and tactical deployment of all aspects of finance. Manage, direct, organize, and control financial activity for the region. Specifically, protect the assets the corporation has assigned to this region and provide operations management with financial guidance necessary to produce the expected return on those assets. Manage operations finance processes as well as credit, collections, and risk management for region. Builds finance function’s capabilities, inspires team to achieve high performance and develops strong financial leadership throughout the region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Assure the existence and competency of financial systems and procedures to comply with GAAP and corporate policies and procedures to guarantee the integrity of financial reporting. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, as appropriate.
B. Attract, select, direct and motivate professionals that consistently apply generally accepted accounting principles, and who continuously strive to strengthen the overall profitability of the business. Provide leadership and direction for finance function as member of Group Finance Leadership team. Responsible for Region Finance OCA &amp; succession plans. Ensures adequate finance bench strength in place to meet current and future business needs. Manages resources effectively.
C. Direct the regular financial processes for the operation including month-end closing, monthly financial forecast, profit plan and strategic plan, including reporting and analysis of results. Ensure accurate and challenging plans and forecasts are submitted, with comprehensive analysis of significant variances to enable the discovery of the root cause and enable appropriate decision making and corrective action.
D. Analyze operating results and balance sheet elements to determine and recommend profit and/or cash flow improvement opportunities.
E. Provide useful information and recommendations to the operations for decision making as a result of interpretation of the financials. Identify financial risks and develop mitigation plans.
F. Review, approve and / or recommend course of action on capital investment decisions.
G. Oversee the operations of the credit analysis, collections, accounts receivable and deductions management processes. In conjunction with this responsibility, develop and organize, strategies, process improvements and tactics to improve the A/R metrics. Work with location controllers to drive benchmark performance in collection activities.
H. Leads the finance efforts on key business growth and/or repositioning studies to ensure robust and accurate financial estimates are provided in a timely manner for decision making.
I. Provide direction to location controllers in the appropriate implementation of standard cost revisions and the setting of transfer prices to other Eaton locations.
J. Ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley documentation throughout entire region.
K. Conducts balance sheet reviews to ensure accuracy of stated balances and review account reconciliations. Ensure maintenance of proper accruals and reserves.
L. Reviews and approves physical inventory results, burden rate reviews and annual standard cost changes.
M. Demonstrates financial leadership to help drive through Group and corporate initiatives and ensure they are enhancing financial performance of the operations.
N. Protects assets and interests of Eaton Corporation, which includes actively hedging the region’s non-functional currency exposures.
O. Provide financial counsel and serve as a business partner to the Region President and VP/GMs through advising them on all aspects of the business.
P. Provides external benchmark analysis for financial performance as well as administrative and operational process efficiency. Implement best practices across the finance function.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) EDUCATION
BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA or (or equivalent)/MBA preferred

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 15 years experience including:
- 8-10 years in a manufacturing environment
- 5-8 years supervisory experience with at least 2 years of multi-site financial leadership
Proven managerial capability

Skill/Knowledge requirements:
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate across, and influence within, a complex matrixed global organizational structure
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
• Pronouncements of external regulatory bodies
